Petals in Sculpture
Petals in Sculpture
"Petals in Sculpture" radically transforms a quintessential still-life classic into a bold, heavy-impact masterpiece through extreme sculptural impasto technique. The composition features a lush, dynamic floral arrangement held within a textured gold-flecked vase. Dominating the center are deep crimson, pink, and yellow-orange roses and a large white daisy, each petal built from heavy, fragmented blocks of paint that practically break out of the canvas. The arrangement is set against a sophisticated, heavily-embellished gradient background of textured color blocks, moving from cool teals and blues on the lower left to warm oranges and yellows on the upper right.
Defined by our signature heavy-embellishment process, this strict 1-of-1 artwork is intensely physical. The aggressive palette knife strokes create a three-dimensional topography where individual forms can be traced with a fingertip, offering a deeply tactile and luxurious sensory experience. This piece is designed for collections that demand true rarity, blending traditional subject matter with uncompromising modern physical presence—an ideal focal point for any sophisticated luxury interior.
